Team Kickstart at Super Grands World Games

On December 26th, TEAM KICKSTART, our competition team, traveled to Buffalo, New York for the National Blackbelt League Super Grands World Games. NBL Super Grands offers many divisions that cover numerous parts of the Martial Arts and when you win your division, you are officially a World Champion.

This year marks the 7th year the team has been present on the circuit and they have earned respect from competitors around the world. Congratulations to all TEAM KICKSTARTmembers. We would also like to congratulate former KICKSTART KIDS students and current instructors, Tim Conkel, Doug Cyril, Maritza Gaeta, Joanna Rubio, and Ronnie Zapata, who competed at this year’s NBL Super Grands World Games.

Special Recognition

Congratulations to, Park Crest Middle School KICKSTART KIDS instructor, Tim Conkel for being the first ever competitor to win World Titles in all 5 of the following divisions: Hard Creative Forms, Hard Creative Weapons, Musical Choreographed Forms, Musical Choreographed Weapons, and Musical Open Forms. Mr. Conkel also received Overall Competitor of the Year.
