Stafford Instructor, Students Take Home Gold & Bronze at Warrior Cup

Congratulations to Stafford MSD Kickstart Kids instructor Rommel Gargoles and students Aaron P., Dylan N. and Miguel A. on an incredible performance at the 2022 AKA Warrior Cup in Schaumburg, Illinois on January 21 & 22, 2022!

The team brought home 6 Gold Medals and 2 Bronze Medals. Huge props to 8th grade student Dylan N. for winning the Overall Under Belt Grand Championship and the AKA Mini Warrior Cups in both Traditional Forms and Weapons.

The American Karate Association (AKA) is a Non-Profit educational organization for youth and adults that advances martial arts in the United States and around the world. The AKA Warrior Cup is the longest-running martial arts tournament in the United States and the host of the NASKA Awards Banquet. NASKA is one of the largest sport karate sanctioning and ratings organizations in the world.
