2026 Gala Update and Legacy Launch
On behalf of Kickstart Kids National Board, the Norris Family, and Executive Director Diana Sayavedra, we want to share an important update regarding the 2026 Boots and Black Belts Gala.
In light of Mr. Norris’s recent passing, we have made the decision to postpone the event originally scheduled for April 25, 2026.
This was not a decision made lightly. It was made with intention and respect for the Norris Family and Mr. Norris’ beloved friends and supporters.
Rather than proceeding as planned, we believe it is both appropriate and necessary to take a step back and thoughtfully reimagine this gathering into a Legacy Launch Event, one that honors Mr. Norris’s extraordinary life, values, and the lasting impact of his work.
This future event will provide an opportunity for our community to come together in a more meaningful and reflective way, to share stories, pay tribute, and recommit ourselves to the mission he championed for decades.
