About Kickstart Kids
Kickstart Kids teaches character through karate to empower youth with core values, such as discipline and respect, to achieve their greatest potential. Daily classes, delivered by black belt instructors during the school day, include martial arts instruction and lessons from our unique values curriculum. It costs Kickstart Kids approximately $100,000 to implement each school program. Schools pay a fee to have the program on their campus, and we request a $75 student participation fee, which covers all aspects of the program including the instructor, in-school classes, after school sessions, summer program, uniform for first year students, the use of equipment, belt tests and ceremonies, as well as the unique values curriculum. One year of comparable costs at a typical martial arts school would be more than $6,000, assuming an identical program. It is our hope that all youth will have the tools and support to build a better life through this life-changing program.
