On Friday, April 15, 2011 Chuck and Gena Norris will host the annual KICKSTART KIDS
Gala and Auction at River Oaks Country Club. This Gala celebrates Kids and the success of
the KICKSTART KIDS program in middle schools across the State of Texas. The evening
begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by an elegant dinner. Our
special entertainment this year will be Danny Gokey. Danny has amazing musical talents
and was a third place finalist in Season 8 of American Idol. His debut album, My Best Days,
was released in March 2010. You won’t want to miss the exciting live auction and a
demonstration by the KICKSTART KIDS.
Sponsor packets also include tickets to a day of tennis and friendship on Saturday, April 16
at the Galleria Tennis and Athletic Club. Enjoy a morning of tennis with Chuck and Gena
and their friends followed by a casual lunch and awards ceremony. The KICKSTART KIDS
City‐wide Demonstration Team and other area student teams will provide entertainment
and inspiration.
